It’s time for my seasonal Happenings List! This is my handpicked selection of intriguing goings-on throughout the state of Arizona, plus a handful of things you can join in ANYWHERE, like online workshops and worldwide observances.

Ways to participate:

  • Learn about coatis. Read WCD’s coati news, watch cute videos, find coati facts and photos on iNaturalist.
  • Avoid products that cause rainforest destruction. Habitat loss is a leading contributing factor endangering many species, including coatis.
  • Raise funds for rainforest conservation organizations, like WCD partners Bioparque La Reserva, Rainforest Trust, and Reservaylt.
  • Find out if your local zoo or wildlife park can use donations of enrichment items for coatimundis or funds for habitat upgrades.
  • Use hashtag #worldcoatiday to learn facts about coatis or share your own photos and videos.
