It’s time for the next installment of our occasional series of absurd, puzzling, and/or just plain silly reviews I found online! This time, the reviews are for four different things. I share excerpts from each review (with slight edits), comment on it, and include screenshots of the original posts.
Reviewed: Circus Circus Hotel and Casino parking garage in Reno, NV.
“Circus Circus Reno is a great casino and hotel, but if I were to judge it by what I saw of the parking garage, I would’ve guessed the casino was a dump, as well.”
Strange assumption, since most venues are much less dumpy than their corresponding parking garages. But okay.
“Thank God the trash hasn’t reached the casino just yet!”
Does the reviewer think that the debris has a mind of its own? And is purposefully advancing on Circus Circus Reno?

Result: 1 star for a parking garage looking as bad as a parking garage. Next time, I’d recommend the reviewer take the bus. And stop watching so many 1950s B-movies.

Reviewed: Dog treats purchased at PetSmart.
“Gave them as a treat tonight while we ate dinner. They had them gone before we even sat down…”
Sounds like the dogs loved their new treats! 5 stars?
Nope.
“…Very disappointed for the price. Wish I still had my receipt.”
Result: The humans left a 1 star rating, but I’m pretty sure their canine companions would give the treats four paws up.
